displacement happens to all normal people BUT...

All are heads down pleading to say sorry, but we also feel so sorry.

All eyes glued on the book pretending to be busily reading about Sigmund Freud. There goes the creaking sounds of chairs of the people trying to move from the total frozen moment.

My back started to ache and attempted to move. My eyes seem to dislike looking straightforward.

I started to move my eyes. I saw the pieces of paper still scattered on the floor, left untouched.

I recalled moments ago, it was an index card. But since the professor disliked the idea of seeing that thing from my classmate's desk, she turned that card into a white confetti infront of everybody. And it flew and came down down to the room's center aisle.

No more Chemistry notes of my classmate. And the one-hour super deafening silence ended up with a QUIZ next meeting.

It was so yesterday, and it was a nightmare. So shallow.
