calculus

I don't have Calculus in my course but the whole afternoon kept me wondering "what if I had that subject?"

Then the answer would be HELL.

We watched "Stand and Deliver" this afternoon. It was based on a true story and it is all about a high school teacher who taught his students that Calculus thingy. And for high school students, the subject is an adjustment, I mean, it's a whole new thing for them. Even the school's administrators didn't want the teacher to teach the students that subject.

But with the teacher's great teaching skills, students just love the subject. And because of that, their school (Garfield High School, a funny name though) just produced increasing number of passers in their annual achievement test in Calculus.

Nice to hear that noh? Being a teacher is my first ambition...then it turned to doctor...then FOR NOW, I want to be a teacher again! :)
