I thought this day would end up gloomy without my friends with me in my almost last day as they all know that I'll be leaving Manila tomorrow.
As in badtrip ako at alam ni Raf yun. Sobrang depressed na ako when I knew that almost of the Benavides Friends were at SM. I've been texting Kayle and Sugar for the nth time but still, no response. If not, delayed replies naman.
To waste our time, Raf and I, together with Nina and Niko, decided to go to Quiapo for lomo search again. Since Nina was curious about the 'psychic' people there, her boyfriend Niko went straight ahead to Madam Betty for a palm reading. Haha. As we all know (psych people), it was all about hasty generalizations.
And back to UST, no BF still. Had merienda in McDo Lacson but still, no BF.
I decided to went back to dorm to sleep for I am not feeling well. I saw my friends Gab, Kay and Larissa and told them nagtatampo ako sa BF when the door bell rang.
And oh, some of the BF from SM... with bags of chips. Of course, Sugar can't stop teasing me about my first time to eat CHIPPY RED. That was hilarious and unusual, I know. I thought we're just going to eat at our dorm's dining hall when Ruth showed me a bag of "RUFFLES"... then all I know was, I was laughing so hard.
"RUFFLES" was the ribbon of the pink gift since Ruffles is my favorite junkfood (together with TOMI). Magulo noh? In short, di ko pa kasi natitikman yung Chippy Red kasi nga Ruffles ang favorite ko, at inaasar nila akong may Ruffles yung gift pero yung ribbon lang pala mismo.
Then out of the box was a pair of yellow shoes. The pair of shoes that I wanted because of the drawings of monsters and robots in it.
"Isukat mo kaya."
"Ayoko ngang isuot, gusto ko yung isa diyan, isuot din niya yung shoes niyang ganito."
"Sige na."
"Maluwang kaya. Paano niyo ba kinuha yung shoe size ko?"
Haha. Although medyo maluwang, super natouched ako dun kasi nag-effort pa silang patampuhin ako kasi iniwan ako sa UST na si Raf lang ang kasama para malambing lang ako ngayon. Haha. Gumaganun noh?
"Pero hindi August 14 birthday ko ha? Birthday ko na lahat ng araw ng August, huwag lang ang 14."
Then, I went to tears. But okay, let's not go there. It's just another story not to be told yet. What's more important now is we appreciate what is present and we live in it (Villarica, 2009). What matters now are the people Who are there for you because they are you're real friends. At ang pinakaimportante sa lahat, ngumiti ka (Castro, 2009).
Absent si Jeka, Glad and Paul, pero okay lang yun. Sayang, sana mas matagal pa ang mga moments na ganun.
Thank you kay Sugar, Marko, Ruth, Hanna, Pauline, Jem, Rej, Meme at lalo na kay Kayle na may pakana ng lahat. Aba Bes, kailan ka pa naging Bombay para maningil ng utang this past few weeks? At kay Raf na magaling umarte pero kasabwat naman pala. Di bale masaya naman ako sa Quiapo trip natin eh. :D
