Free Comic Book Day.. finally!

For the nth attempt since college, finally I made it! So there were so many things that were not easy just to get a chance to meet my fave (one and only fave, I'm glad and proud to support local) comics creator.

Waking up early, it was not easy. Traveling to Boni High from UST, it was not easy. Staying on a long queue of avid fans of comics (and I'm not!) for 4 freaking hours under the scorching heat of the sun, it was not easy. After a long queue, another long queue for autograph signing (2 hours?! for just a few people?), it was not really easy.

I did not let any hunger pangs hinder me from meeting Manix Abrera, creator of locally-made Kikomachine Komix, in which I love for its intelligent humor stories.

I've been planning to attend Komikonsss and Comic Daysss even before but I always fail. I'm not hardcore comics fan but I'm a hardcore Manix fan. HAHAHAHA.

Too bad, I was only able to show up 2 books out of 9 books of him. He even doodled in my diary! Yay! So much kilig! :)
