Random August Business

Seems like my blog had been through a serious hiatus now. So let's put everything into paragraphs and make August a memorable one (well, I suppose).

I did not know it was August already not until I reached its sixth day. I've been worrying too much about my piled up graduate school workloads, adding another requirement every week. It's never-ending. Plus, that Research and Statistics subjects (wow, a total combo!) this semester made me hate thesis-making more. Well, except that I love Statistics! An irony, but yes, I hate Math but Statistics is a complete exception.

Well, I've been trying my best to impress everyone with my teaching. So far, it was good! Haha. Self-assessment, well, yes. First quarter exam results of my kids were all great. Except for that I've been drowning myself in my waterloo: behavior management. :|

But, I'm trying, you know. It's just hard to get mad with cute little kids, eh?

Talk about two weeks of not feeling the sun rays in your skin! It's like, it went for ages. It also spoils my mood and it made my procrastinating skills honed.. at its best.

And I can't believe I waded through knee-high floods for the sake of food. Well, my fault, for being not smart enough to stock up foods in my place. Luckily, I have a HS classmate who lives next door, literally. I have to invite her to brave the cold waters so that I won't look stupid, doing it alone. That was funny, well, for our first few walks but we freaked out seeing people panic-buying and that jam-packed Jollibee (only food chain opened that time!) across the street. Of course, we did not gamble our empty stomachs to line up in the long queue just to eat something with rice. We went to the mainstream: panic buying.

No more bread, just cookies. How lucky. On our way home, I thought a dead cat was floating into the waters, but yes, unluckily, it's just another two-teeth creature out there..as big as a cat, if you know what I mean. O_O

That 'journey' ended with a hot shower and a promise not to brave the floods again.

So that unnamed typhoon (not a typhoon but yeah sort of) or whatever lasted for 3 days. I did not eat rice for three days. But before my cave-man-mode happened, I did not eat rice a day before. So after that Great Flood incident, I'm happy to see myself eating 5 cups of rice in one sitting.

Although I don't like my co-teacher, there's a part of me that feels sad when I knew that someone will leave. Why do you have to go away, people? You make people you will leave behind sad. I hate that feeling.

My 22nd is coming up! 5 days to go! Here's my Listography account just in case you want to drop off something in my place. Just kididng! But yeah, I feel like turning 12!

Cheers! :">
