Something For Your Sweet Tooth

Drool over these! :p
Warning: This kind of food trippin' is not recommended for diabetic people or if you want to indulge, eat sweets in moderation. Sugar rush may occur.

We decided to celebrate our monthsary (which is not really usual for us to celebrate monthsaries) to compensate the reason that we are just really dying to pig out for something unusual. While I'm not on the mood to eat sweets today, I still pushed through to tick off something from my to-do list in the food spot category. Hihi.

We arrived at the Love Desserts located at Banawe at 11:30-ish, which is a kinda early arrival for a customer of a buffet restaurant. It would be a fair enough kind of excuse for Kayle and I to take pictures with our SLRs without taking the hassles to deal with a crowded place. But for me, it's an introvert excuse to take pictures, I'm very shy taking photos when there's a lot of people around me. Boo for me. :|

And surprises, although it's not a surprise, you'll be having unlimited desserts for a few bucks! Very sulit for a kuripot working girl-slash-student like me. And I did not eat breakfast prior to this! Very clever. :( But I had tummy ache afterwards since I'm not into eating large amount of food (and sweets) lately. But still, a thumbs up for this very clever idea of buffet desserts!

So what do they have in their menu? Ice cream (it's sugar-free), halo-halo, fruits, crepes, smoothies, milk tea, coffee, cakes, pastries, chocolate eclairs.. and name it!

T
he award goes to Chocolate chip cookies and Blueberry cheesecake in shot glasses for the Sweets, Milk Tea for the drinks (which is healthier than the commercialized milk teas out there! Since it's really tasted TEA, literally) and Rice Porridge for the Kontra-Umay category! HAHA. And yup, you read it right! They have lugaw and it really tastes so gooooood, just like lutong-bahay!  And I guess, this is such a heavy meal that's why I did not get the chance to try crepes and ice cream. Next time, maybe!

We only had three rounds of sweets! :( But aside from the unlimited sweets, they also have in their menu some drool-worthy sandwiches and rice meals. I think the next time I'd go here, I'll try their rice meals and that fruity crepe!

So, we stayed there for 2 hours or so and I got to memorize their operating hours which are Monday-Thursday: 11am-11pm,  Friday-Saturday: 11am-12am and Sunday: 12nn-11pm and buffet table closes at 10pm.

As we left the place, I had something to add on my list. Love Desserts is located near another buffet restaurant: unlimited steaks! (o.O) Oh, next time! :)
