After my 4 long years of stay in Manila, I had my very first time to watch concertsss. What a loser I am, buuut it's all worth it. We The Kings, Mayday Parade, All Time Low pero sige i'll include the party concert na rin, Black Eyed Peas. The first three concerts were just so awesome that these bands would only come to Philippines once in a blue moon! :))

Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I forgot to make resolutions by the end of 2010 so I guess, making resolutions is not working for me anymore. Change must start within ourselves so if you gonna make a lot of resolutions without internalizing it, that would be useless.

What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
I would like to have a change of perspective for everything. I would like to change how I interpret things and see them in a more positive side--just to eliminate my self-producing anxiety. That sounds funny but I tend to overanalyze eveything so I guess, more positive thinking.

What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 28--Baccalaureate Mass--the most colorful night of the year! -- and a booze til wee hours of the morning.
April 1-- Graduation Day! :)
August 2011. I love this month. I feel blessed and loved by a lot of people. Hey, blessings! :)

So far, what more can I think of, of course, finishing and getting an above average mark on our thesis, earning my BS Psychology degree which makes me a Quadricentennial graduate (yeah mehn!) and entering graduate school as the youngest freshman student in our batch. :))

Whose behavior merited celebration?
Sugar--she's been there for everything. For every moment that I'm messed up and normal and crazy and for those.. numerous mall-hopping moments. And how she was supportive of me on everything. Never ever would I forget the days before Grad ball, haaay, ansarap magkaroon ng friend na katulad niya. Never judges me kahit ako na yata ang pinakaengot na tao sa mundo. :))
Kevin--the one who keeps on saying that I'm masungit and hard to deal with when I met him almost a year ago. A complete stranger by yesterday, a listener by now, and a trustworthy friend starting tomorrow. Ganun siya.

What do you wish you'd done more of?
Sleeping. I'm deprived with sleep since I started schooling and working at the same time.
~*o*~
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Travelling. Shopping. Procrastinating. This is where all my salaries go.

What was the best book you read?
For this year, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. So far. I have no time reading more sensible books right now but I find this book funny when I recall my puberty days. :))

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
This year, I had a month-long 21st birthday celebration. 2 days before my actual birthday, Kayle, with the help of his HS friends, Jessy and Kathleen, surprised me with the so-called 'dome of happiness' which is actually a semi-cake with donuts, meringue and creams puffs tucked in it! Moreover, on the birthday itself, my students surprised me with their song number while my co-teachers gave me a lot of BreadTalk small cakes with different flavors (my favorites!) and treated them with (with Kayle again) Bonchon Chicken for lunch. But when I got home, my MedTech friends, Kat, Baba, Ytte, Ronald and Kevin prepared a small cake with their short letters in post-its~ WHAT A VERY DIABETIC BIRTHDAY I HAD! :) ♥

What kept you sane?
My collection of cameras--these are the stuffs that remind me that every moment is still beautiful. No matter how mundane it is. To relate it to the question, taking pictures kept me sane to remind me that I should be happy no matter what. #triggerhappy?
To add, my nursery students kept me sane (and happy!).

Who did you miss?
Hanna-- let's do the kite-flying again! :)
Teaching kids everyday. And the best part is when you see them learn a lot of things from you--and they remember it. They remember everything--your random stories, your jokes. From then on, I now play a big role in their lives. When they are bored, they ask me to sing "Part of that World" from the Little Mermaid. These are the times I'd be so crazy, not even giving a care to how I look as long as I teach them well and make them happy! :)
What songs will always remind you of 2011?
Time Bomb All Time Low || I listen to it when I'm mad. Haha.
Pumped Up Kicks Foster the People || My feel-good song.
A Daydream Away All Time Low || Reminds me of summer.. haaaayyy <3
Super Bass Nicki Minaj || Reminds me of my students when they get tired of singing nursery songs. Don't blame me, they just requested me to sing it for them! :))
Moves Like Jagger Maroon 5 || moooo oooo oooo ves like SWAGGER!
The One That Got Away Katy Perry || /wrist. How I wish I have me on the other dimension of the world so everyhting will be just fine.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.
It's okay to be screwed most of the time, as long as you smile by tomorrow. Smile is the best revenge and always do the kindness overkill. Yeah, good things come not only to those who wait, but also to those who are genuinely kind.
Lastly! It's actually not about what you said. It is HOW you said it. There's a big difference between them.

Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Rate yourself and rake yourself--Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons (but I like Tonight Alive's version more).
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?
