She went to Florida because she was looking for an escape.
He's asking them to let her have some peace for just a night. He wants her to keep dreaming, to not give up.
He feels he isn't worthy of her, so he's hiding his feelings from her. He writes a song for her, and sings it at night. He wishes she could hear what he was saying in his song, what the words meant, that she knew she was the person he's talking about.
Maybe he feels like he's just memories to her, when he wishes he was her present. Then, he's saying if he's lucky, he might get to talk to her. He's not asking to go too far with her, just simply having their wrists touch would be enough for him. He's asking her to forget the pain that he had caused her and let him in.
Time he has left with her is slipping away faster than he wants it to. She could break his heart but he's asking her not to. He says he's a dreamer because he believes she's "out of his league" . He had chances with her before, but he never made a move. But he won't let her down now, he'll gather the guts to make his move.
I wonder if you're having a great time right now (but probably the answer is yes).
And maybe, all of these would lead to nowhere.
