One Check for My Bucket List~

As part of seeking for a spontaneous adventure, and since I have to grab the opportunity that boyfriend is absent from work today (due to laziness and stress, sabi niya eh), I begged to celebrate our monthsary a day ahead since Friday nights would always be a study night for the both of us.

And being a semi-demanding girlfriend so that I would just be able to check something from my bucket list, under the scorching heat of solar flares, Kayle and I decided to roam around the South Harbor. The floating bookstore MV Logos Hope had been on the metro port for few weeks now but it is only now I can find someone to accompany me.

We've been busy wiping off sweat stuffs in our faces as we entered the ship, and thank God, aircon welcomed us aboard! It's more sweat in the Philippines, talaga. :|

And I can tell you that for book lovers, even book worms, this is heaven! The books were rare finds and I can even recall that the Classical book tales (such as Jane Austen's and the like) are in their original book covers for only 350 units! (Note: 100 units=100 pesos)

Well, for the other books, I find them sort of expensive. Maybe only in my case since I don't have much bucks in my pocket! Hahaha. Poor little thing. :|

So I only bought Children's books in which I really enjoyed browsing instead of the books that of my age would love reading. :)) I bought 4 activity books which will serve as first few books before my future kids will go to school. Too early for me to plan on this? Na-ah. Remember, I'm a teacher, so I should know better when it comes to parenting. HAHAHA. #MaturityKicksIn

We even saw college 'technical' books published by McGraw-Hill. They are on sale and take note, new acquisitions! I even wanted to buy the Abnormal Psychology book which was really very concise content-wise but due to limited ka-ching on my wallet, well, I have to let go of it. And yes, McGraw-Hill was really famous when it comes to being a college student, together with Pearson Publications. How weird of me, I still remember those publishing companies in which a normal student would not notice in his books! Oh, college. :")

They even have cafe inside the vessel! They sell frappe (yum!) and delicious cakes!

And oh my, if I have more time until March 13, I'll visit this ship everyday with my other friends! ♥

PS. I miss my Dad even more whenever I see ships.
